Gosh golly gee oh my.
Free time is such a luxury and so rare. I figured I'd at least post every couple of weeks or once a month but it hasn't been happening. Too much on my plate. One of these days I'll manage my life better but for now I have to be easy on myself. Keeping up with blogs, my personal email, reading books or magazines...it's a struggle. I do a lot, the main thing being take care of my sweet girl, who is now two and two months old. I'm also working three days a week outside of the home, teaching her playgroup or bringing her to it on the other two days (on which I also work from home). Right now I should be doing several things some of which are: make myself a healthy lunch, pay the electric bill, throw away old papers, clean the kitchen floor, write personal and work email...the list could go on and on. But, here I am writing down some thoughts, some notes on Nadia!
She is so amazing at this stage. Her little being is so much more aware and communacative. She has a big vocabulary and talks and sings and talks some more. She has a sense of humor, she really does. And she is a very caring and kind child, a compassionate kid who helps and encourages her friend. She of course is also headstrong and demanding at times, but, well, she's two and I know it comes with the territory.
She is getting bigger and taller every day. I can feel it when I go to pick her up, she's heavier for sure.
She loves to make art...she loves glue! And her latest thing is scissors...she wants to use them whether I want her to or not. Time to buy some kid scissors.
She is still such a good eater...chicken, red meat, black beans, rice, quinoa, avocados, cucumbers, broccoli, eggs, strawberries, grapes, pineapple...I could go on. Her faves right now seem to be bacon and cream cheese.
I am so proud of her. She is a well-adjusted, out-going and, for the most part, well-behaved toddler. Every day she learns something new. Many days she teaches me something new.
I love her with every cell of my being.
